Directions - June 16, 2008
Abiquiu Chamber Music is the junction of Hwy 84 and Private Rd. 1622, No. 12.
1.From Espanola take Hwy 84 toward Abiquiu;
2.PASS the El Rito turnoff (Hwy 554) and continue approx. 2+ miles on Hwy 84:
•You will pass Trujillo’s Store on your left:
•Then you will pass the Santuario Santa Rosa de Lima on the Right (Old Ruins);
•Continue to the END of the Guardrail on the highway:
A Blue sign says “Roadside Business”.
3.IMMEDIATELY, turn RIGHT onto PR 1622
4.Follow the drive down until you can BEAR LEFT and cross a CATTLE GUARD.
5.You pass a large, GRAY Pro-Panel building on your right;
6.The next property (a blue/gray single-wide) has a TALL, WHITE IRON GATE and is No. 10;
7.Immediately AFTER that white gate: TURN RIGHT onto a long lane w/ wood chips.
8.Follow the lane straight down to NO. 12, the Concert Venue (there will be a Green “For sale” sign and a trailer and house on the left of the lane) which is housed in a TALL Steel House on the river
9. A PARKING ATTENDANT will direct your parking: Please PARK in designated “upper” parking on your LEFT after entering the gates. (NOTE: For those who may need assistance with the stairs into the house…pull straight ahead to the “lower” parking adjacent to the house and you will be helped w/ parking your car and with the stairs.)
1.Coming SOUTH through the village of ABIQUIU, stay on Hwy 84 south;
2. After the Abiquiu Inn, turn at the 2nd road on your LEFT (1/2 mile);
3.Follow Nos. 4-9 above.
