Abiquiu Chamber Music Festival's Mission is:  

  • To provide an outstanding summer music festival for our surrounding and greater northern New Mexico community;

  • To bring world-class artists from around the globe, performing from the wealth of the classical chamber music repertoire;

  • To engage and interact with audiences, the community, and youth through educational outreach programs which foster a greater appreciation of the richness of classical music;

  • To promote appreciation of and experiences with new music through the performance of and commissioning of new musical works;

  • To interact with artists throughout our community in other mediums in artistic collaboration;

  • To enhance the economic well-being of the surrounding community by the attraction to visitors from throughout the country and;

  • To provide the finest musical experiences in magnificent natural and intimate surroundings on the Rio Chama.
